And yes, a very small number of woman address all of those self-inflicted problems and still cannot produce enough milk; there are crisis pregnancy centers that put these women in contact with mothers who have an oversupply of milk. This dependency on formula is a feature, not a bug of the destruction of the nuclear family. I enables mothers to leave the home and fail to nurture their infants properly. It damages bonds between mother and child. And it harms the development of infant immune systems. Anyone whining about formula availability needs to get their shit in order. Just like with schools closing for COHEN-19 forcing many parents to actually do their job and teach their own children, I hope this shortage forces negligent mothers to figure out how to actually nourish their infants properly.
