This is my guess so far... we’re all going to eat the inflation entirely. They’re going to take our tax money and just burn it to kill off the excess cash in circulation. So for a few years things will be exorbitantly expensive, salaries won’t go up (because they all derive from your taxes at the big corp level).
And once they’re done burning a few years of taxes away without paying out salaries and everyone’s savings are gone, they’ll resume distributing back your taxes to you through their big corp salaries.
