Good thing we, (I) dont work for companies.
People under 30 can't find their own asses with both hands these days. Probably takes 30 of them to do the work of one single grumpy old 55-year-old Gen-X dude.
But yet companies are more willing to hire an idiot 30yo than an experienced 50yo.
Yeah, almost as if profit was no longer the motivating factor, and it's all just social engineering. Almost as if Capitalism had been supplanted by some other form of cronyist Oligarchy while we were distracted by a constant series of never-ending social upheaval movements and wars and financial meltdowns.
Don't be silly.
haha suckas
Well yeah, if they're over 50 why are they unemployed? It's like dating a single mom, what the hell did she do to get in that position in the first place?
Some over 50 got "moved to the door" as they got older.
But why? If they were so engaged, experienced, and productive why would a boss fire them?
Some companies don't like to keep older people. IBM has come under fire recently for such practices, and when I was applying for jobs a company called L3Harris had some reviews that mentioned older people being pushed out.
The other explanation is younger people are less set in their ways and are probably not going to demand an actual useful salary.
