I own a business and we do a 4-10 schedule M-Th. My employees love it. It gives them more time with their families, time to travel on their weekend, and less commuting time. I love it because my employees have fewer missed days (calling in sick when they really just want a 3 day weekend) and our employee retention is better. The only people who don't like it are fussy customers, but I don't want the them anyway. I'm fine losing the customers who complain non-stop. They can go to my competition. I have no problem filling our capacity with good customers who understand my employees have a right to time off as well.
