I've been unemployed for long periods of time despite the fact that I was a straight A student with 3 uni degrees in finance. I paid shit ton of rent and refused to get help. Chasing benefits as a Harvard graduate crashes the soul. Sleepless nights, hiding from friends... Still I never borrowed a single cent from a bank. I ve never gotten nore will I ever get a cent from benefits, or a bank. Except from a mortgage, because something about paying uo front for a house ain't right. Even when my bank advised I remortgage and buy a second house, I refused to and simply paid off my mortgage.
