I will be cutting it soon, as with the landline. The cutting landline ( way over priced ) is kinda iffy with cell service out here. But thats ok Im ready. I will never hook up a tv to internet for streaming. I have plenty of downloads to use with a media player though.

My folks just cut their land line as well, a real copper line. It was $85 a month for nothing other than spam calls.

I assume it's because both they can due to a certain amount of captive audience, and because it's becoming harder to maintain POTS lines.
