In all seriousness, according to the model we are using, you're not standing still in space. You are part of earth inertia. Like if you jump in a fast moving vehicle (train or plane), not hing will happen.

It's not bullshit, but basic science (Newton's laws of motion) in a zero G vacuum.

if you are standing still in its path, you will be hit even harder as its gravity with start to pull you towards it as it moves towards you.
