Consider for a minute, that this so called war on drugs was really a war against us. By any metric, it was pretty effective. The drug industry is thriving, Mexican drug cartels are incredibly profitable. Then there are the "rehab" centers. Drug cartels have branched out into farming now. I'm sure their business includes a lot of different aspects we don't even know. Drugs are being legalized, addicts are getting free needles, treatments and so on.

And then we hear that our benevolent rulers want to legalize even more drugs.
