Right now, the whole society is collapsing pretty steadily. Police are not enthused about doing their job and things like shoplifting, prostitution and drugs are virtually ignored. With this Fentanyl epidemic that we're in right now, you could kill anyone you wanted to by merely slipping a few grains into whatever they're drinking. Everyone is concerned with violent crime and Covid---not junkies. I just left a water bottle unattended while I took a piss and had this thought. Unless you were rich and powerful, no one would give this a second thought. I mean, they'll find the Fentanyl easily during your autopsy and attribute it to your death, but no Detective is going to run cameras for the last 3 or 4 hours of your life looking for foul play. The shame of it is,aside from being fucking dead, you can be a straight edge like me who doesn't even smoke weed or drink beers or wine and your reputation would be wrecked unless like 10 of your family members stood outside City Hall with protest signs. So, I guess, don't leave food or drink unattended--even in your workplace.
