I have watched like 20 Youtubes with Rogan and others who have taken that super strong version of DMT and claim to have experienced a frightening ego death followed by an enlightening time with a God or Godlike being who acts as a guide and then they say they receive complete enlightenment.

So, I’m really resentful of these fucks because they all make similar claims about being shown the meaning of existence, right? Now, Rogan probably has higher-than-average intelligence, but not genius- level—yet he cannot really give any big picture.

A couple of other guys, from their verbal skills and such, seem to have IQs in the very gifted to genius-level range (140-160+), yet they cannot really explain it all. One guy just smiles goofily and just says “it’s all bullshit.”

Can one of you dopers in here explain in simplest terms what your experience lead you to believe about the nature of existence and what happens when we die?

Thanks. I have also heard other recollections of machine elves and such. This explanation you’ve provided is slightly more helpful than others.

I guess I’m looking for a more macro-type of explanation. I don’t really believe the Bible word-for-word, but I believe in the overall Judeo-Christian framework of things, so I’d be interested in knowing how the two mesh. Does one justify the other? Do you get the feeling of overall benevolence? Do you sense a duality of heaven and hell? Of good and evil? Do you consider yourself a good person? I don’t. I see myself as roughly 50-50. I have done a lot of good deeds and saved lives a couple of times, but I’m also a meanspirited fuck who is unpleasant and misanthropic and I think about killing and maiming literally every day due to the environment I grew up in and the PTSD of my life. Do things like this as well as other “foibles” get forgiven? I’m hoping for my sake that they’re understood as pettiness in the grand scheme of things and part of the human condition by these higher beings?

I don't really have an answer for this. Do murderers and rapists get to come back for a re-do? Or do they get thrown straight into the lake of fire? Perhaps a bit of both.

This is what I got out of my trips. Your belief system defines what is waiting for you when you die. If you believe in Jesus, you will see Jesus. I believe in aliens and I believe the "bible" is just a misunderstanding. A little of "their" world interpreted by man on our world. 6 or 1/2 a dozen is the same thing. At the end of the day, the true reality is this, in my opinion. The Alpha and the Omega has always existed. The true nature of reality is it has always been there. Not our reality, thee reality outside of the big bang. That realm I experienced is the true reality. It just is what it is. Hard to comprehend when we are trapped in "time" and everything we do is governed by it. To us, there must be a beginning and an end, however, time is only an illusion.

Once you get past that and try to fathom reality has always been there, then you can accept a "god' of some sort. An intelligence. Whether or not it gets involved, I don't know. But if we are just a simulation, avatar, we are an extension of it. It permeates through us as a sentient wave of consciousness. We are god. God is having an objective view of itself through its creation of 'this' reality. We are just spirits having a human experience. You don't need to follow any scripture or religion because it's already coded into our dna. It's innate. Two rules. 1. Do no harm 2. Put someone before yourself. That's it.

On a deeper level, I believe reality is just a self-replicating, error correcting algorithm.
