That's unbearable. Thoughts and prayers. I lived in a deep south nigger zone most of my life. Hurricanes galore. But as long as I could find gas, the priority was using that gas and a generator to get the window unit going. In the winter, you can get a window unit for cheap. Generators are still reasonably affordable. That combo is a life saver.
