For whatever reason, this dream involved myself and a military acquaintance being sent to Hawaii (after we'd become civilians) to take care of some work there. The dream involved settling into a weird old huge apartment complex with locker room showers and many coats of paint on the walls. The parking lot was very tight and hard to navigate. It was built on a hillside and there were ramps and levels.

One strange part involved my own exact car that I drive in reality, I had worked on at the shop/dealer and they brought me a pickup truck instead by mistake when the work was done. I sent it back and got my car but the work was of poor quality and the service manager/concierge driver agreed.

Oh, and we didn't know how long we would be staying but signed 6 month leases. A third friend who was driving us around asked why we accepted the ambiguous work and we both said "I guess we are still accepting orders." I think this may be a subconscious response to Evangelion because Shinji just does what he is told too.

Or maybe there's something about your car bothering you and you want a pickup truck.

I have been working a lot on a new (to me) vehicle; however I do have a truck just not as new as in the dream
