Her nose still works!

How is your dad? How are you?

Thanks for asking. On a good streak. Things are a good as they can get right now. A day at a time. My mom (she’s at a full care facility for a while now) had an infection that had her really loopy and I was scared but the antibiotics worked and she’s back. I couldn’t ask for more right now. Well I could, but I’m not going to push things.

I’d say my biggest worry is the old girl. She is sleeping a lot and isn’t willing to walk much. I spent a lot to get her fancy fresh dog food to use as a topper that has her appetite way up. I worry about her a lot because she is beyond her years and Dad (and myself) will be crushed when it is her time. I’ve opened a dialogue about what we will do when the time comes, which I think is a smart move. It’s too cold to bathe her outside, so we are going to have a nice time at Tractor Supply having a nice long bath and drying session. I know Tractor Supply has been overly woke, but their dog washing station is a nice time and a necessity.

Again, thanks a lot for asking. It means a lot.

It’s all we can ask for, and I’m grateful to hear that for you. Merry Christmas, I’ll put the old girl in my prayers. You are a good son.
