I was walking the dogs this past spring and it looked like it might rain a bit. Halfway through the walk it started coming down hard. At first both our little dogs were fine and just going along with it, then it started coming down even harder, and our puppy was like "No. I cannot continue to move forward. The rain has defeated me." and slammed on the brakes. I had to pull him a bit to get him started again lol.

Mine are the exact opposite. The very first raindrop that hits one of them is cause enough to turn around and head home.

Yeah our older dog is like that, if it's raining he's like nope. But if we go and it starts raining he's fine. The puppy does not care about weather in general unless it's extreme. During the freeze last winter he was outside every day running around in the snow. And during the summer he hangs out outside in the 100+ degree heat like it's nothing.

My dogs are fine with heat and absolutely love the snow. It's just rain that they hate.
