He's 10 and I've only ever heard him growl one time that sounded "serious." He was playing with a ball and another dog came up on him.

Holy fuck yes

Does he steal shit?

Not really, but there is no 5 second rule at my house. He can hear a crumb drop from the opposite side of the house.

Does he make a mess everywhere he goes?

Not all the time. But if you give him a toy he will eventually and very meticulously tear that fucker down to individual threads. And of course he doesn't clean it up.
