Is it normal for bitches to hump your leg?
The house dog is a rescue pit mix who's already had her litter, roughly 4 yrs old. Very nice dog, although completely untrained at the time, a lot of progress has been made.
One behavior I can't figure out is the leg humping when she is bored or restless.
I've managed to train her to latch on to my arm instead, and she does this little dance for a minute while she presses down on my arm with quite a bit of strength. Seems to be a stress reliever of some kind. As long as she isn't humping my leg directly I guess it's ok? Still weird
