I don't understand why people still hold on to the idea of that country turning around and pulling itself out of the hole it buried itself in. It took decades to get this bad and it has momentum, it would take just as long and twice the effort to reverse and get back to classical state. The only viable path out in our lifetime is accelerate it to complete ruin and decide which invading country to join.
