This intrusion danger exists for computers connected to WiFi. Activation of cameras and microphones is fairly trivial. I'm not sure that a Warrant under provisions of Title 10 would be used.

Or wired. The Intel Management Engine is an embedded CPU with a full OS that's always running and can access all the hardware of the PC.
