The dems knew Trump would win on Jan 6th. The Republicans had the Constitution and the Congressional vote count on their side. (one vote per state). Trump also knew the the dems would disrupt the count at all cost. This was part of the plan. Trump would use it to drain the swamp while everyone thought Biden was in control.
