It's interesting that the same kind of economic fuckery is happening now during a drought as happened during the early 1930s during a drought that was named the Dust Bowl. I can't think of why the two should coincide, but they do. In the 30s many people believed it was the wrath of God. We hear the same thing today. The Roaring 20s, as they were called, was a period of decadence and perversion. The Hungry 30s returned America to biblical moral principles. Maybe we will see a similar reaction in the 2030s.
