Tell the corporate Almond Farming Fucks in California to stop blowing past their allotment of water every year and Lake Mead will be completely fine. Instead they flood our TVs with commercials of 7 year old kids to tell me to stop watering my non-existent lawn.

Lake Mead provides water to the states of Arizona, California, and Nevada as well as some of Mexico, providing sustenance to nearly 20 million people and large areas of farmland. If the reservoir dips below 895 feet — Lake Mead would reach dead pool, carrying enormous consequences for millions of people across Arizona, California, Nevada and parts of Mexico. Experts from the Bureau of Reclamation say Lake Mead stands at a tier 1 shortage, and have predicted that Lake Mead will reach a tier 2 level by 2023 and a tier 3 level possibly in 2024.
