Entire towns are unsubmerged due to the "low levels" of water and there were relatively modern towns within the last 6-7 decades-ish. This means that Lake Mead is not at a low level.

This is so silly. These things go in cycles, people. Just when you think the end of the world is coming, you have reached the bottom of the cycle and you start up the other side. It's this way in all walks of life. Lake Mead is due to start fillling back up, if it hasn't started to do so already.
