It once happened that an unexpected power-off in a mobile phone caused the MicroSD card's crappy exFAT file system to be recognized as damaged.

I inserted the SD card into a Windows PC (because Windows handles Micro$oft EXFAT best) and then unmounted it with the safe eject option.

This made the mobile phone recognize it again. No FsChkDsk headaches.
