Lots of reasons. - They (Quebec) get $13 billion a year from the rest of Canada in equalization transfers, basically free money to prop up their inefficient public sector, while they fail to extract their own natural resources. - They prevent Alberta from building natural gas and crude oil pipelines to the east coast because "muh green energy", while hurting not just Alberta but the entire country in the process - They essentially wage war against the English language in their own province and use the notwithstanding clause (constitutional override) to legalize it after the fact. For example, English is not even recognized as an official language in Quebec, while the rest of Canada is forced to learn French (90% don't end up learning to speak it anyway). Most people hate studying French in school. Anglophones in Montreal and other areas of Quebec are often mistreated and are disadvantaged over there. - They are often very arrogant, cowardly, selfish, atheistic, feminist, leftist, and are xenophobic towards Anglophones. They also get very easily offended. Quebec is #1 for mass shootings in Canada despite having the lowest per capita rate of gun ownership. Canada's gun laws went down the toilet after **one** mass shooting in Quebec and now there is an entire religion based off gun control in Canada. This mainly originated from Quebec. - As alluded to previously, they are mostly anti-gun (a reason why many Conservative Anglos also hate them) Many more reasons but I just don't have the time to spell them all out.
