Pretty hard to start a war without lending. Either because you're broke to begin with, or your run out of hard assets in a month or two.

So I have to support the jews or the Muslims while they fight over a piece of land I don't care about? Hmm

Now, my guess is the Isreal will "lose" and everyone will need to "flee" to Ukraine and displace all the russians/whites there.
