Its clearly symbolic, but I don't get it. The only sink phrase I know is "everything and the kitchen sink".

the South-African born business magnate walked into Twitter HQ in San Francisco carrying a white porcelain sink. All, seemingly, for the purpose of a pun.
“Entering HQ – let that sink in!” he tweeted above a video of his entrance into the building, presumably referring to the constant speculation, since as far back as 2017, over whether he would finally make Twitter his own.
