Feral dogs can be really mean and if you have to dispatch one, you have to. Killing an animal just to kill it on the other hand is pointless and proves nothing. That dog this woman killed is awfully clean and I doubt it was feral. I'ts obviously purebred and was somebody's dog.

Yeah, I live in a rural area and I used to ride a motorcycle. Sometimes I would have to turn around and go another way because of the huge pack of dogs blocking the road. Once, I couldn't even get off my porch when they showed up in my yard. That was the last straw...

I ran across a pack of feral dogs as a kid once and didn't realize it. I yelled at the what I believe was the lead dog and it looked and me and aggressively snarled/barked and kept going. I instantly realized they were feral and I had been very lucky.
