The vag wasn't responsible, Baldwin was. He failed to check the weapon, he pointed the weapon at a person, and he pulled the trigger. End of story.

She absolutely and unquestionably failed at the only thing she was supposed to do. That doesn't absolve Baldwin of anything. They both should be in jail. The media is definitely trying to throw her under the bus to help Baldwin. However, there is more than enough room under that bus for both of them and a few other responsible parties on that set.

Failing to do your job is not illegal. She shouldn't be in jail, she should be fired for sure but the only person responsible for the death of the cinematographer was Baldwin. When it comes to fire arms safety there are no excuses and trying to blame anyone other than the person firing the weapon is nothing but an excuse.

I think that was not as much a case of incompetence as one of nepotism. I doubt she would get the gig if it wasn't for her father, who is a real pro in the field according to the reports.
