So I think this guy goes too far into the "cannibal rape gang" thing. I think it's really unlikely that all of a sudden we're nuking ourselves, especially considering the goal of these evil fucks is in fact power over what they believe to be cattle. I just bought a book from a survivalist who lived through Argentina's collapse in the mid-teens, and it's up next on my list. The short synopsis I've read indicates that it's not like you have this irradiated wasteland immediately, but more like things simply get a lot more scarce and a lot more dangerous. He writes on how to prepare your family/self/home/vehicle, how to get your finances in order and prepared for economic collapse, How to prepare food/water/power shortages, fighting with all sorts of weapons (think many here already have this down), and how to raise your situational awareness (everyone could use practice unless you were in SF I suspect). The book is called Suriviving the Economic Collapse: The Modern Survival Manual by Fenando Ferfal Aguirre. I'll write a review up here once I've read it.
