Nah. I think it's fair to point out the American system is so fucked up it has no standing to criticize the Chinese system.

Shit like this is allowed to happen there's just no saying our government (along with it's various corporate auxiliaries - media, pharma, tech, etc) is morally superior. It's an evil system which is trying to get your people into war with China on the grounds that... China is an evil system.

The piece you quoted was a hypothetical, so he is not saying we need to be conquered by chinks. Rather, he is saying that if we were it would be hard to make the case that this system is preferable. There's not much that's worse than being genocided.

I'm glad you're not falling for war, though. It'd be nice though if anti-war people pushed back against the narrative of America's moral superiority more often. This is the flimsiest reason ever to invade someone and yet it's fed to the masses constantly.
