Mining fees too high.

Lightning should cut the fees down, but many exchanges aren't even using segwit yet, an update from mid 2017.

Also BitCoin all a public ledger. Only psudo anonymous.

I think lightning becomes private once you close the channels. But someone could decide to monitor and record those before they close. And the opening and closing will be public.
