This could be some bullshit "news." In Germany they had the story of a guy who taught his dog to perform a "Hitler salute". The government, supposedly, confiscated the dog and euthanized it and put the guy in jail. But the exact same story was printed every single year. It was some bullshit story to cultivate certain attitudes. This story smells like more of the same horseshit.

Wasn't there a guy in Scotland who actually did get jailed for teaching his dog to some close approximation of a Nazi salute? Count Dankula? (I think they probably didn't euthanize the dog.)

You're saying there was a fake story of this printed every year in Germany? Give a source or some proof. I don't believe you.

This story was printed in newspapers in Germany every year during the 1990s. I don't have an online source. It's almost the exact same story as the one with the pug, but it was always in Germany and not of the UK.
