All I know is certain people are obsessed with this number for what appear to be superstitious/magical reasons.

It has occult significance, but it is a number of Satan, not Jews. In Hebrew, Satan translates to Adversary. In ancient Sanskrit/Sumeria, Satan translates to Truth. Satnam is also a mantra used in kundalini yoga.

The Jew is opposed to Satan and the other Pagan Gods who tried to enlighten humanity spiritually, raising our bioenergy, intuition, intellect, etc. The Jew wants us retarded, depressed, and weak, and so they declared war on Satan, cursing him.

From Catholic Encyclopedia: Devil Worship: (newadvent.org)

"In the same way the Greeks and Romans may have worshipped their divinities, fondly believing them to be good. But the Christian Scriptures declare that all the gods of the Gentiles are demons."
