But it’s still really small in terms of numbers, and there are now big payouts. It’s just kind of a fun thing some colleges are doing to add a bit of spice to things.

Good. I was wondering when eSports would sink to a new low. I thought it was bad enough that they now mandated dilation stations for all their freaks. Clearly they are determined to dig even deeper.
