You can be a misogynist without hating women.
That's just splitting hairs. I think most dictionaries will define misogyny as hating women, but either way the distinction is irrelevant.
My husband and I are both misogynist.
However we feel that way towards most men, too. I don't know if there's an appropriate word for when you think most people suck.
I feel a lot of frustration because I do think most women are a poor example. But I see so many men who are, as well. The good women stay behind their men and support their men, so you're not going to notice them unless you're a neighbor and they're bringing you a meal when you're sick, or a loaf of bread just because.
The women who are in the lime light are the kind you don't want anything to do with. But there are others who are good. Don't let the difference between be lost.
