Your grandfather has absolutely nothing to do with whether nukes are real or not. Just because he saw something doesn't mean he saw a nuke go off.

Did you know they simulated a nuclear explosion in the Nevada desert with TNT sprinkled with radioactive material? I'm betting you didn't.

Why would they bother and how do you know that's not what your gramps saw?
