So basically, it’s illegal for anyone to say that the election was stolen, or to support Donald Trump in any way.

That is what blanket social media bans are: making speech de facto illegal.

Of course, I’m still allowed to say it here, on my very censored site (which is not allowed to be shared on social media). But am I even allowed to say it here? I keep reading Jews and journalists on Facebook refer to me as a “fugitive,” despite the fact I’ve never been charged with any crimes in my entire life (except felony cocaine possession when I was 19 – and that is EXPUNGED, and some DUIs, and those might also be expunged).

It's not really a problem. You shouldn't automatically ban (in all the subs you own) someone you've blocked, unless their only goal is to disrupt the functioning of your subs by shitposting/shitcommenting and flooding off-topic comments to slide/divert discussion.

You won't ever know because you won't see their posts. It'd be better if when you blocked someone you would still see their posts in subs you mod. If you mod something it's your responsibility to monitor the content, so it's nit unreasonable to ban someone who you've blocked, as this is necessary to uphold that responsibility.

Then don't block them, because that totally defeats the purpose of blocking someone.

If you also don't want them to post in subs you own, ban them too.

Now if you are only a mod in a sub (with other mods), why would you want to ban someone you've blocked and take away the right to decide for other mods and users to see the posts from users you've blocked?

I'm not talking about this case. I'm talking about the case where you are the only mod. (This is very common phenomenon on Poal)

Now, me, I would probably just not block (though I have before I was aware of this problem). But I know some people do block and obviously if they're modding subs solo then they're incentivized to ban them from those subs as well. It sucks but the setup encourages that.
