Welp... looks like we need to create a conservative LORAWAN 'outernet'.
Any of you computer fags familiar with LORAWiFi?
Do you need a licence for that?
Theoretically, you also need a licence for cb radio or walkie talkies in Europe.
Not in the US that I'm aware of. Pretty sure that it is regarded as typical WiFi.
LoRa WiFi however can transmit 100 miles in good conditions and line of sight. It also uses very little power, so a small battery pack could last months, or solar for indefinite broadcast. There's no reason we couldn't create a WAN around a city to provide connection to a separate internet, or even a gateway back into the internet, thereby creating nearly perfect anonymity.
