This situation would be like if neo-Nazis were rioting in New York for months on end, attacking cops, lighting random Jews on fire, burning down buildings – all while waving Chinese flags, singing the Chinese national anthem, regularly meeting with Chinese officials at the Chinese embassy and even flying to Beijing to meet with high level Chinese politicians. Then after months, the US government eventually used the police to stop the riots, and China responded with sanctions, saying that the US is opposed to democracy.

Even if the Chinese government was oppressing its people for no reason (which is kind of a confusing concept – surely they would have a reason), what does that have to do with me or my problems? Why should my government be expending resources trying to stop the Chinese government from abusing its own people? The US government is the global enforcer of morality? Why? No other country believes that their government has the purpose of enforcing morality in foreign countries, other than the US and various satellite states like Australia.
