I doubt if it's even really about making you wear a mask in your house. 99% of people will think it's stupid, but at the same time having an over-the-top rule like this will change their thinking on other things.
You won't wear your mask at home, but you're a little less hesitant now to wear one at the grocery store.
You won't wear a mask at home, but you're afraid to have your neighbor over because you don't know what they think about the rule.
You won't wear a mask at home, but gee if they're making this rule this virus must really be bad.
or you live alone or with family and everyone is covid free so how the fuck does the mask do a fucking thing except make breathing harder is my question since it's an illogical rule.
It fucks with you. That's what it accomplishes. The goal is to fuck with you, not protect your health or some stupid shit like that.
