I have often mentioned the role played by US embassies all over the world to promote certain agendas, including the gay agenda.
Often the average American is unaware of the degree of his country interference in other countries, and much of the way society has turned today is because of US embassies funding and promoting certain "movements". These days with BLM and the like, it has completed a full circle and has returned to USA.
I remember a big push under the Bush Jr. era for Americans to feel ashamed for their country's actions. That was just electioneering though, and low stakes too because Bush Jr. was already on the other team.
Even when I see stuff like this I do not feel shame, because we are essentially a conquered people with no representation in our own government. Naturally, normal people oppose this, but there is no path for their opposition to this to lead to this not happening.
Obviously, we live in an era where "democratic" governments aren't representative of the people. Voters think a new president will lead to change without realizing that there's a giant heap of deep state that will resist any change.
Or a new senator or rep or whatever. Moreover, you cannot even get a good person into the majority of these positions because the thinking people will always be outnumbered by the unthinking. You could argue that if you got enough of the right people into power, they could clean up and reform the deep state, but we'll never know because this is not possible. In spite of this, all the bullshit our country does is "our fault" because we collectively voted for it.
