Most of the time, people tend to hate each other when one allows himself to do or say stuffs the other refrains from doing or saying, for a reason or another

Like for instance here, she hates him because he allows himself to do something that she refrains from doing

You have also that guy talking out loud in the library, while everybody else tries to make as less noise as possible. That guy automatically gets the hate tsunami

Same deal with the guy blasting his music through his window, or in a public place such as the sub. Everybody could do that be we refrain from doing so, for a reason...

Why are some foreigners/ethnic groups, almost universally hated when they actually are in any given place? Because they do stuffs going against the generally accepted group behavior, social norm/standards/conventions, like not respecting the queue, like not saying thank you or excuse me or saying hello, almost never following even the most basic rules, etc... That's for arabs in europe for instance. Same could be said about a lot of blacks in the US I guess, those commonly referred to as niggers, derived from naggers, for a reason
