Agreed. I'm not saying having a little BTC is a bad idea... I'm saying that it is over-hyped. I see folks in the prepper community that seem to think it is some panacea that can solve all of the worlds currency issues... and it is just not.
Buy a farm with a well that produces all the water you'll need and build fortifications around it and maybe have an underground bunker as well.

Fortifications are counter productive with the underground bunker, they attract attention
What if raiders are attempting to steal your crops or pillage your house or rape your wife though?
