Alright, well at least your outlook from here is somewhat reasonable. I think there is already enough info out there to conclude this is not nearly as serious as the 2017-2018 flu, which we didn't panic over. Not to mention, if you have any gut sense for bullshit you could just look at the talking heads and know something is up. A 2.5% mortality rate would be extreme -- that would actually be a very serious virus. However, we know these mortality rates are not anywhere near accurate because they are being calculated off positive cases, rather than an estimate of the total number of people infected with the virus. You can take a look at how the [CDC measures flu mortality rate](https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/how-cdc-estimates.htm) and see that this is totally different from the way Corona estimates are arrived at. I think you should have figured out the severity of this by now and realized that the response is absolutely not appropriate for the level of threat that it was. There is no big exponential death spike coming, just an economic collapse and whatever insane authoritarian agendas move in in the wake. But if you're able to admit you were wrong at some point there's at least some hope that you won't be as trusting of the mainstream narrative next time.
