Not to mention many doctors are laid off and medical services deemed non-essential are being put on hold. This is going to create a backlog for treatment which will result in some bad outcomes. "Hospitals overloaded" is a meme right now, but it won't be whenever they lift this lockdown.

It's almost like the disease terminally targets a specific percent of the population independent of behavior. Look how the US, Italy, and Germany all seek for the exact same per-capita results.

Our Helicoptarian Constitution would allow requiring necessary initiatives without taking away people's rights.

For example everyone could wear masks instead of locking people inside to die or go bankrupt.

Thing is under our system the situation would never have gotten out of control in the first place. We would likely have had ZERO cases.

One thing to consider is that lying about stats is what countries do when they don't have lockdowns and don't want shit for it. It is the right move, not having a lockdown. But countries also don't want shit for it and we have more examples of countries not having lockdowns and lying than countries not having lockdowns and telling the truth.

Good for Sweden though.
