So we're not even at the flu yet.

I should have said I'm skeptical that this is a hysteria-worthy event.

"Not even at flu yet" what does that even mean?

What "flu" to begin with? What are you looking at? Death rate? Cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths per year in the United States, now why is it irrelevant?

hmm...yes. What I mean, is that the hysteria we're seeing doesn't match the damage. Influenza, by some counts, infects 10s of millions every year and kills 30-60k by other counts. As you stated, ciggies kill half a million. Why the lockdown for this thing? It doesn't add up. Sure, it's dangerous. So is me driving to work every day, statistically, I'm going to have an accident that kills me.
