a good teachable moment on begging for money:

  • State financial earnings/losses.
  • 'let me tell you how this site works'.
  • Catalogue of financial/web services blackballing.
  • What will probably happen if current course of not getting enough money continues.
  • Commitment to ask for money more in the future.
  • The guilt trip: "People are going to complain about this, but all of you were told we were broke and 99.99999999999% of you chose not to send money."
  • Promise to keep updating on financial situation, verification checks.
