I think Anglin is right on this one... it would be funny to call the rally off at the last minute and then only Antifa would show up.

People should call the governor's office and ask to talk to the him specifically, everyday, waste his fucking time and his staff's time with tons of questions, you're evidently entitled to an answer, and you always ask for "clarifications", looking for the little details nobody gives a fuck about, troll level 9000, and send emails also, hundreds of people doing it, everyday

The left loves these rallies. It helps them energize their base. An election is coming, and how better to get out the vote than to frighten the uninspired voters? They need 'frightening boogie-men', and that is exactly how gun owners will be portrayed endlessly in the press. We've seen it all before. This event gives us nothing positive to justify our effort and expense. I gently suggest we all just take our loved ones out to lunch somewhere nice that day.

Another thing going to this rally will bring is a huge parking lot for police to run our auto license plates. Yeah, lets make their jobs real easy. We are just not being monitored enough, right?

Even under the best conditions, a rally will not possibly matter in a Democratic Party controlled state. Any real wins on the gun issue will be done in the courts.
