Seems like an ESP can do damn near anything these days. They are like the new arduino. When a 555 would be enough, why not just use a ESP? @stupidbird

I tried them for a while but they used to have a giant-ass RF spur at 319.98MHz, which is close enough to 320 that other controllers in my house quit.

I have been lucky enough to not have that problem but maybe I had a different batch or just got ..lucky..

320MHz is kind of an unusual frequency these days. Just so happens the garage door opener I used operates there.

Wow, yeah, I could see why that would be a PITA but I have a garage door opener that is also attached to my home assistant but via 2.4g wifi.
