I finished this one tonight. It's crocheted from a pattern I picked up off of Etsy in super wash wool. The pattern was terribly written. Next time I pick up a pattern I'm iffy about I'll make a pillow cover first just to get a feel for it.

I don't even want to look at how much the wool cost me but I wanted one that pretty much fit my queen. I have some leftover yarn so I might make a pillow cover. I added a simple border since it looked unfinished without it.

Yeah, she's right. I made each of the shapes the red hexagon. Put brown around it and then the orange and then crocheted them together rather than sewing because it is faster. Weaving in the ends of yarn where you start and stop colors is time consuming but I can get into the zone with a podcast or YouTube video going. I actually prefer knitting because if it is a repetitive pattern I don't even need to look at my hands often and can read a book or watch something with subtitles.
